Dr. Wolfgang Maute’s Story

A well-respected expert in Swiss and international tax matters, Dr. Maute began his career in the tax authority of the Canton of Thurgau before joining the service of the Swiss Court. Since then, his career in international tax matters has spanned nearly thirty years.
Biography
A graduate of the University of St Gallen and a Doctor of Laws, Dr. Maute holds additional qualifications in accounting and taxes, including a Master’s degree in International Tax Law from the University of Liechtenstein. He is currently a lecturer in International Tax Law at the University of Zurich but has also taught at the Swiss Academy for Tax Education and Auditing and the Institute of Financial Services (IFZ) in Zug.
